Not to mention a more unique looking braid than a standard french braid when you are done. :)
Just in case you are wondering, the cute flower hair clip shown with this style came from Every Little Detail.
I think this hairstyle would work for little girls as well as tweens, teens and maybe adults. Braids look cute on everyone, right?
This is very cute. I'll have to put it in my memory bank for later use, though. My 4 year old is growing her bangs out and doesn't have enough hair up front yet.

@Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind, but I removed your comment. :) We try to keep our location anonymous for safety and privacy. But yes, you are right and wow, I am amazed that you would notice that!
I LOVE your hair styles for little girls! This one is especially cute. I love how you make it seem so easy to do and with your directions and videos it really is something I can do myself.
ReplyDeleteShe looks very cute in these hair styles. Thanks for the video too. Its so helpful
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful technique! So beautiful yet simple. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI tried this on my daughter today and it fell apart after about an hour. Do you have any recommendations on how to keep the braid intact longer? Thanks. It was so cute while it lasted. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm not sure as I've never had that problem. I'm wondering if your daughter's hair isn't quite long enough? If that's not the case, maybe you could try adding a little bit of gel or pomade before you start. Good luck! I wish I could be more help. ;)
DeleteLittle girls are so cute. Love em=)
