Start by making a box on the top/side of her head. Divide this into three sections. Split the front section in two, and tie a half knot. (Take two pieces, cross them, then put one of the ends through the middle and pull down.) Keep one of the ends out and add the other to the next section and tie another knot. Repeat for the last section.
Bring the rest of the hair into a ponytail and add the extra ends. Make a bun, and add a bow. This picture doesn't show it very well, but there are three little streamers of hair coming down into the bun.

Um, I just left a comment on another hair site letting them know about yours. (I figured people could always use more ideas, and I love this blog.) I hope this doesnt bother you. Hopefully you don't mind the extra publicity. If it does, you might want to go private. I probably should have asked first.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I'm so glad I found your blog. My kiddo is still too little and bald, but she'll get hair someday. I've been following another blog like this one for a looooong time, and she's had several of the same hair styles you have up here on her blog, too. I don't know if you're familiar with it, but it's www.shedoeshair.blogspot.com You guys should get together. I bet she'd have some great tips for you. And maybe you for her.
