LIVE CONTEST IS NOW OVER!!!!!

Ok, so the first 2 winners have already been drawn.........scroll down to see if you are one of them!! If you didn't win, here's your chance to be winner #3! I'm trying something new. A LIVE CONTEST!! I thought this would be a good way to give you a little more control over being the winner, instead of just leaving it up to random.org!!

Here's the rules:

Comment # 602 will be the winner. You can say anything you want in your comments, the only stipulation is that it has to be a full sentence. (You can say "I hate doing hair" for all I care!) If you have all day, and need something to do, you can leave all 602 comments! Or, you can slip right in at the end and be the 602nd sniper! This could take an hour, or a week, who knows???

I can't wait to see who wins!!

So, start commenting..........

What in the world??? I put this contest up, went to do some stuff, came back a couple of hours later to check on it (thinking there would be like 50 comments.) And, it's over!!! I guess I underestimated you! I didn't realize I would have such die hard commenters. You guys are awesome!

I'm pleased to announce that our winner (number 602) is Khristacy !!
She's totally deserving of this too. Can you believe she was the very first commenter!! It looks like she stuck it out the ENTIRE time. Now, that's dedication folks!! Khristacy, please send me an email with your address and I'll get this out to you. hair4myprincess at yahoo dot com

A big thank you to everyone else who participated too! I feel bad that I wasted half of your Saturday and you didn't even get anything out of it!

But, I'll for sure be doing this again, it was fun! Although next time I might have to make it 1000! I'm still totally shocked it went so fast. I strategically did this on my slowest day at the slowest time, thinking it would last all day long! You proved me wrong!!

Whould you like to comment?

  1. oops I didn't mean to put that in twice.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Thats ok! Just gets an extra comment in there ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. cool! I love Kaleb spelled with a K!

    ReplyDelete
  26. What are you going to see Toni?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Uh oh. I've already lost count. I wish blogger comments were numbered!

    ReplyDelete
  29. She's only 16 months though, so I've got plenty of time to do stuff with it.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  31. I so don't have time to be leaving 600 comments, but who wants to do home work when there's a fun giveaway going on?

    ReplyDelete
  33. My 6 year old have enough hair for at least 3 kids to have plenty each. She loves it that way too.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It was my husband's idea to do it with a "K", less common.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree with the therapy part with hair, not cooking though, I am not very good at it.

    ReplyDelete
  58. We got 100 comments in 35 minutes; we've got to pick up the pace!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  70. What's your favorite thing to cook?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oh wait, "grrr" isn't a sentence, is it?

    ReplyDelete
  72. My family created an online cookbook to store all our favorites from my great, great grandmother on down. It's neat to have them in one central location!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I wish I could tell my computer to always display unsecure items.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I finally finished my daughter's Halloween costume today.

  82. I would love to get your Tilapia recipe.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Parker Family, I saw that costume on your blog! It's adorable!!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  85. April, my email addy is klbhye (at) yahoo (dot) com, you can email me and I will email you the recipee!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Thanks. I don't have the finished one up yet. I sewed little black seeds all over the red part, so it looks even more like a strawberry now.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I'm going to try to put her in it later today to get more picutres.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Oh, if you use firefox as your user, that annoying box won't come up anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  91. There usually are several people who wait until the end to jump in with their comments.

    ReplyDelete
  92. My husband just walked in, he thinks we are all nuts!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I figured there would be jumpers, But more fun to talk!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hi girls, looks like I came at the right time today!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I like the weaving too! Sometimes it feels like I go through phases of what styles I really like.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Has anyone tried any of these hairstyles?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Well...if there are really 6 of us on here and 436 more comments to go. That's about 72 comments that each of us still need to make. Heehee!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hi Becca. Welcome to the party.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I have tried many of these hairstyles. It is so fun. I am always checking for new ones.

    ReplyDelete
  113. YAY! Welcome, Becca! I couldn't believe I logged in at the right time. When I first logged in it was still on the previous post. Then I hit refresh and the contest popped up. Cool!

    ReplyDelete
  114. I have lots of favorites, I love the corkscrew braids, weaving, and the climbers.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Also, there's one called twist and weave, I haven't tried it yet because it looks hard. But it looks so awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  116. The heart one is really cute. My nieces LOVE when I use these styles on their hair. Seriously, they feel like such little princesses afterwards!

    ReplyDelete
  117. My daughter keeps asking me to try the heart. I need to get some ribbon to put through it and then I will try it.

    ReplyDelete
  118. As a 1st grade teacher my students used to come to school with their hair down (with little hair accessories) so that I would do their hair. It's fun to have a daughter of my own now. :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. I get the unsecure message box when I comment also. It's very annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I'm so glad she put that twist braid video up. I couldn't figure those out until then. Now they are my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  121. The corkscrew braids are really cute too. My niece calls them 'twisty braids' and makes me do them all the time!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I have done several of the hairstyles!

    ReplyDelete
  123. A different one everyday for school!

    ReplyDelete
  124. I have done the twist and weave. It's not as hard as it looks. I did it with braids once too and it was a little easier and faster.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Take pictures of them all and put them on myspace :)

    ReplyDelete
  126. I do the weaving one too, but do the braids, easier for me!

    ReplyDelete
  127. I am totally commenting EVERY time I log on! So cool!

    ReplyDelete
  128. That twist braid video was REALLY helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  129. We have three--1 girl, 2 boys, and we can't wait to have more. Our last was a home birth after two prior cesareans. It totally ROCKED!!!! Wish I had stayed home with all of my children. Of course, I'm considered "advanced maternal age" so we're gonna have to get busy. Hubby said after he finishes his dissertation we should get busy. Heehee!
