First of all, before the hairstyle..... Have any of you heard of ribbon sculpting? I never knew there was such a thing. Holy cow, I've been shown a whole new world and I am blown away with what can be made using ribbon!! It truly is an art! My favorite of these is the one on the bottom right. You guessed it people. It's the Little Mermaid, made completely out of ribbon!! Now THATS creative. If you want a closer view of these, click on the picture to enlarge it. The detail on each of these clips is truly amazing.
You'll most likely be seeing a lot of these clippies on our blog in the future. The princess absolutely adores them. If you want some for your very own little princess, we got them at the Posh Baby Boutique.
Now for the style. The princess chose the dragonfly to try out first. Good choice!
We put everything into a pony, leaving out a square on top.
Part the square in half and put an elastic in at the bottom of the lower half.Section off the top half and do three pull throughs. (If you don't know how to do a pull through, look under my "quick search labels" for "videos." You'll find an instructional video there!)Now twist each of the ends of the pull throughs until they start twisting back on themselves and add these to the elastic.Pull everything into a bun at the bottom and add your dragonfly.
