Today's Christmas style was done the same way I did
this hairstyle. from the past. You can find the old video tutorial at the bottom of this post for more specific instructions. I just wanted to show you how it looks using thinner ribbon.
I braided the pony at the bottom and flipped it back up to the bottom elastic and curled the ends over the top to finish it off.
I love this adorable Christmas bow.

ReplyDeleteCuuute! where did you get that bow?

ReplyDeletethat is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLaura, I got the bow at poshbabybowtique.com
ReplyDeleteJen, how nice of you to donate your hair! I've thought about cutting off and donating my daughter's. But, I'm just too stingy!!
Someone else stole my line - my first thought when I saw this was "Cute, cute, CUTE!" =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photo with the smaller ribbon - it really helps get those ideas going!
It's beautiful! I can french braid, but not well and I can't wait to try this one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI did this in pig tails... and it is sure cute. It was really hard-- for me right now, but I couldn't resist your cute styles to try...
ReplyDeleteJust happened upon your blog today--soooo cute!!! Thank you so much--I have found new hair-do inspiration for my 3 little princesses!
ReplyDeleteI love this hair! I did this the minute I saw it on here and it turned out just as cute as I hoped! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOk, I know I already commented on this, but I have a confession to make. I love this look so much I think about it all day, lol. Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to try it on my 3 yr old, but as a hair headband kind of style with thin ribbon. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed - that's a very pretty hairstyle...now if only I could get my 3 year old to sit still long enough to try that on her!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is awesome! I cannot wait until my girls have enough hair to do something like that.
ReplyDeleteSo you put it in an elastic at nap of neck and braided it and then did a pull through from bottom, up? Is that is, I get the top but wanted to clarify on the bottom part. So so pretty, my 4 and 2 yr olds can't wait for me to try on them! Thanks for tips, Lynelle C
ReplyDeleteLynelle,
ReplyDeleteI just put an elastic at the nape of the neck, braided it and then took the end of the braid, placed it back over the elastic at the nape of the neck and wraped another elastic around it. (The ends were sticking straight up and then I curled them.) Does that make sense?
I wana try this on my four year old. her hair is all the way down to her bottem. The only problem is getting her to sit long enough for me to do it.. I must ask how do u lasts get Ur daughters to sit long enough to have something like this done?
