Through the process we've had lots of fun but it hasn't all been roses. This post is all about the stuff you never got to see. All the hairstyles up until now I've been too embarrassed to post!! All the ideas I thought would turn out wonderful and turned out to be a flop! We've had some doozies. Just think of this post as our "Hair Bloopers."
First off we have some "puffy piggies?" I thought this was going to turn out looking adorable. As you can see, her hair is way too long for this style, and it looks ridiculous!! I mean, I'm okay with big hair once in awhile, but holy cow, she could barely fit through the door with these pigtails!
All I can say about this one is yikes!!!
So, actually this hairstyle wasn't bad and I still might redo and post it someday. I just don't know what was going on with the camera, or maybe the person holding the camera? Every picture of this style turned out just like this. Nice and clear, huh.
Don't ask! It was a really good idea in my head, I promise!!!
And for the grand finale! Lovely, isn't it?
We had a few more "great ones" I vividly remember doing, but I must have deleted them. You get the idea..
So there you have it, our April Fools hairstyles. Now I've lost all of your respect, haven't I. Well, hopefully you're laughing with us and not at us. LOL
I'll be taking this post down after today, so enjoy it while you can!!
So I like the top of the second one... I can't see the bottom/back very well, but I think the side twists look pretty cool... guess I'm pretty strange, eh? ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! I do feel better about myself now! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the hair styles! Now I'm gonna have to try them on my girls hair! WAY too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh please don't take it down!!! lol! even your flops come out looking cuter than some of my "inventions"
ReplyDeleteIf only for some of your readers' sanity, please leave them on!!!
actually, when I was a kid I sometimes wore my hair like the third photo... ballet lessons, don't ask. I was hip!
Wow! Your daughter is one patient girl to have her hair done so much. Mine will hardly even let me brush hers. Thanks for sharing this funny post. The huge piggy tails were hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI love the honesty! I am new to your blog. I've only been a follower for about 30 days but I LOVE all the ideas you have. I think it's great that you tell us the 'not so great' hair as well. Don't be ashamed at ALL! Be proud that you try and also take the time to post it for us non-creative folk to copy! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know not everything comes out right, even for an "expert"
ReplyDeleteI totally think you should leave it up...with the disclaimer. I was laughing out loud at the huge pony tails! Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea for mom and dauaghter..

Thanks for posting this one! I just started hair blogging in March. Just today I did a really cut style on my daughter but am not going to post it because of the crazy parts I made in her hair! It's good to know that even the experts have goof ups! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAll right, Mrs. P., although I only follow this blog because I know you personally (I can't really do anything with the ideas, because I've got three BOYS), I think you should leave this post up! It's good to see when someone you follow and admire isn't perfect, just like the rest of us!
ReplyDeletePlus, you can look back on this later and laugh! It's like having the "special edition" of a DVD, with all the deleted scenes/bloopers!
Love that you shared these - keeping it real!
ReplyDeleteKori- You are too cute. I screw up al the time too. Glad I am not the only one.
