A Quick and Easy Hairstyle For Toddlers, Babies, and Girls
This fun hairstyle is very easy and quick. Great for keeping hair out of the eyes. Of course, this style isn't just for babies. This would be cute for older girls as well! The Princess wears her hair like this quite a bit. With an added ponytail or bun, it's a great hairstyle for gymnastics, sports and dance (as it stays in place and holds up very well.) This hair style should work with short hair and long hair, fine or thick!Along with this hairstyle, we are giving away a Topsy Tail and a Design Weaver. I realize not all of you are "Youtubers" so we are doing 2 separate giveaways (and 2 prize packages.) Feel free to enter both here on the blog and on Youtube to double your chances! To enter on Youtube, go here to watch our video and complete the entry. To enter here on our blog... scroll down for entry details under this styling video.
The "Topsy Tail" and "Design Weaver" we are giving away are both made by Scunci. The Topsy Tail is shown in our hairstyling video above. If you haven't seen the the Design weaver before, it can be used to add ribbon to many hairstyles and braids, or for weaving the hair as shown in our basket weave video. I have noticed that both of these tools can be hard to find in stores, it seems to be hit or miss. If you are having a hard time finding either one, they can both be purchased online at Hair Flair Boutique.
We will have 2 winners (1 on Youtube and 1 here on our blog.) Each winner will receive both the Topsy Tail and the Design Weaver.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED<> THE WINNER (comment #2 chosen by random.org) IS ANDY:

Dinner with the husband for valentines day.

1) I requested an invite to Pinterest and am on a waiting list.
ReplyDelete2) I shared the link on Facebook :)
3) I love the heart hairstyles and I think I must do one. I even have pink ribbon I could use! I'm not sure what might be planned for the holiday, as my birthday is the 15th also. I'm sure a meal and happy alone time will be involved, possibly chocolate.
(a true Topsy Tail would be awesome, what a great giveaway idea! I've been using a shoe string for ages to turn ponytails. I also used flourescent shoestrings as hair ribbons to match a safety vest uniform for some funky Friday hairstyles :P
Good luck everyone!

ReplyDeleteFor Valentine's day-- I do as much pink and heart-shaped food as possible ;) Hair style wise I plan on doing an upside-down flip through and then separate the tail into 2 and twisting the tails and pulling them around to shape a heart and hairstyle I learned from you but I can't remember what you call it! :)

ReplyDeleteWe don't live near family, and we don't have a sitter, so we don't have any V-day plans. Maybe we'll watch a movie or some Hulu after the kids go to bed. Never been a big day for us anyway. When we were dating we used to have lunch at this hole in the wall Chinese place at our local mall and watch all the men running in and out of the flower shop. Both places have since closed though.
